After months of waiting, the grudge match between Cate Hall and Mike Dentale was finally there. This past Sunday, Poker Night in America played host to the heads-up battle that saw Hall beat Dentale 2-0 in a best-of-three. 

Hall collected $30,000 for her efforts, and we spoke to Matt Glantz about the lead up to this battle happening, the money that was at stake and how he looks back on the overall production and social media response. 

Aside from the battle, Tom Dawn notches up his first HendonMob result in more than three years, Ben Tollerene' scores big in Panama, and we analyze Tom Marchese's thought on whether there are too many high roller events.

Lastly, the boys get into a fair bit of banter towards the end, with a very special guest crashing the party.

On the ninth episode of the Poker Central Podcast, Remko Rinkema and Will O'Connor are joined by both most recent World Poker Tour millionaires.

Daniel Strelitz took down the LAPC for a cool million while Sam Panzica collected $1.3 million for winning the Bay 101 Shooting Star Main Event. Both players talked about the experience of winning the biggest tournament of their careers and notching up their first ever seven-figure score. 

Aside from the poker news, Remko and Will dive into some banter about the Cate Hall vs. Mike Dentale heads-up match, and some March Madness action!

Bill Perkins is among the most successful hedge fund managers in the United States, focussing on venture capital and energy markets, while at the same time being a very passionate poker player, Twitch streamer, karaoke singer and father of two. 

On this week's episode of Heads Up with Remko, Perkins opens up about his personal life, taking us on a journey from growing up in Jersey City to living a jet-setting life in the Caribbean. 

The road to success wasn't a clear-cut one for Perkins, who started at the bottom as "the assistant to the assistant of the assistant," working his way up to owning his investment firm. Back in 1997, Perkins founded Small Ventures USA, and he later joined Centaurus Energy in 2002. 

Currently, Perkins managed the Houston-based energy hedge fund Skylar Capital, while at the same time traveling to player poker and explore the world.

The gentlemen dive deep into this past weekend's ARIA High Roller tournaments, at which Will spoke to superstar players Dan Colman, Jason Koon, and Ankush Mandavia. Colman notched up two big victories in this young year, and he shares his excitement about recent results and participation in the Super High Roller Bowl. 

Koon and Mandavia are also looking forward to participating in the Super High Roller Bowl, and they also share their thoughts on their focus, preparation, and excitement. 

Lastly, Brent goes off the deep end on a tangent like no other, PokerStars Championship events in both Panama and Sochi are being discussed.

Bryn Kenney has $14.2 million in live tournament earnings alone, after getting his start in poker grinding numerous years online. Kenney's a self-made man, taking pride in having had most of his own action throughout his career, and recovering from losing millions more than once.

From $40,000 to $3.5 million to having to borrow hundreds of thousands of dollars to get back in the game? Kenney has done it, and built his own roll up to comfortably play Super High Roller on a consistent basis.

Igor Kurganov is one of the most successful live tournament players of the last five years, and with more than $12 million in tournament earnings he ranks 1st on the Russian all-time money list. Spending the majority of his life in Germany, the now London resident would be placed second on the same list in his second home country.

Dan Smith's one of the most successful tournament players in the world with more than $15 million in live tournament earnings. This past December, Smith hosted a charity drive in which he matched donations up to $175,000. The drive turned out to be a huge success, and some of Daily Fantasy Sports most successful players - Martin and Tom Crowley - donated over a million dollars to his causes.

On this week's show Smith goes in-depth on why he choose certain charities, he discussed wagering North of six-figures on a single weekend of DFS action, and we get into the inner-workings of the high-stakes tournament world.
